Cinderella searches for Charles, believing he is named Alex, as her stepmother wishes to speak with the prince's page. Upon discovering that Charles is not the page but a liar, she avoids him. On her way home, her pets remind her of the stepmother's demand to meet with the page. Paulette, the fairy godmother, intervenes by using magic to transform a horse into Charles. Cinderella rushes home with Charles, but the spell wears off, reverting Charles to a horse. Fearing the horse, her stepmother attaches a carrot to Cinderella's apron and sends her running with the horse in pursuit. Charles rescues her and discloses his true name, as Cinderella reciprocates with hers.
